Inspiration is something that can happen once in a lifetime, occasionally, or for the fortunate, often.
It has been defined as a process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, a sudden, brilliant, creative or timely idea.
When one becomes inspired then what? A flurry of activity? Introspection, careful consideration,
planning or overwhelming responsibility? Is it spontaneous, contagious, does it turn ones thoughts from
other driving forces in life? Certainly inspiration is never quite the same, nor would creative efforts ever have the same result. This is what makes us individual and unique! It is a beautiful thing, that one thought could inspire two or more individuals in entirely different ways.
I believe that if we embrace a thought and then set it free to be, it will return educated, nourished and divinely aware, but the creative process to act upon a thought is unwritten.
If we set our hearts and minds to be open, inspiration happens.

As the founder of Awen Publications (est. 2003) I truly believe Awen is for all. Your place sounds inspiring - what a setting! - some photos would be nice, and something about yourself. If you want to learn more about living creatively, you might want to check out my book, The Way of Awen: journey of a bard, published by O Books last year (www.o-books.com). Would be lovely to come and run a Way of Awen weekend at your place sometime, for those interested in storytelling, poetry, art, sacred drama, visualisation, shamanic journeying & creative community. I've run such weekends in similarly inspiring locations, eg Cae Mabon, Snowdonia, Wales. Nature is truly the best teacher and healer. Here's to honouring our creative wild self!
Wish you the very best with your endeavor.
May the Awen flow,
